Journey

Rachel Riskind Consulting helps organizations transform program data into support for marginalized youth and families.

I've spent 20 years researching children, youth, and families, with a focus on those who are marginalized: immigrant families navigating new contexts, LGBTQ+ youth seeking support, students facing structural barriers.

I spent  15 years making developmental science accessible—from first-year college students to C-suite executives. I co-founded an international program serving Mexican communities, consulted on institutional crisis responses, and co-host a psychology and philosophy podcast that translates research for families.

That's the difference: expertise grounded in justice work and public outreach.

What You Get

Research Excellence Without Academic Jargon

Twenty-five publications, cited more than 2,000 times. More importantly, comprehensive reports delivered in two weeks for Board decisions, consultations with Human Rights Campaign and Family Equality Council, and award-winning presentations.

I've helped organizations secure $293,000 in competitive funding, retain program participants, and turn compliance requirements into strategic advantages. Working bilingually in English and Spanish, I've worked on evaluations serving 300+ participants across multiple sites.

Systems-Focused Analysis

I frame challenges as structural issues that require policy and cultural shifts—not individual inadequacies that require more effort. â€‹

I help you document the structural barriers your programs address and the systematic changes they create. This approach resonates with foundation officers and board members because it shows sustainable impact.

Values-Driven Methodology

This isn't neutral number-crunching. Every evaluation centers the voices of the communities you serve while meeting the evidence standards funders demand.

Your programs are changing lives. Let's ensure your evaluation systems secure the resources you need to expand that impact.

Schedule a consultation to discuss how research-backed analysis can strengthen your competitive position and advance your mission.
